House and Pavilion

The house is located in a tranquil residential area overlooking the sea in the Caesarea, Israel.
The project involved the complete refurbishment of an existing house with additional spaces, new swimming pool and single storey pavilion.
Living quarters are arranged in three separated zones around a central hall and living area. A new study room and master bedroom have been introduced at first floor level, the latter including a curved panoramic window with vertical timber louvers.
The new single storey pavilion overlooks the new pool and garden areas. It contains an external dining area, fitness room and changing facilities. It is clad in traditional Jerusalem stone with a louvered timber canopy providing sunshade on the west elevation.
