Logistics Park and Industrial zone, Vorsino, Kaluga Region

The public square is the first phase of the landscaping project for Vatutinki - a new residential settlement to the south-west of Moscow.

It is part of the landscape masterplan concept which was designed in collaboration with Martha Schwartz & Partners.

The square is positioned at the entry point to a main boulevard at a main junction between a proposed retail centre, a school and adjacent housing blocks.

The purpose of this space is to create a central but transitional focal point bringing together the surrounding functions. It comprises hard and soft landscape areas, a central stage for events, bus stops and street furniture. 

The public square was completed in September 2017 and immediately used for Moscow City Day celebrations.
